DIR: In line with the directives of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Ramadan Badminton Championship has officially commenced at the Dir Sports Complex.
The tournament has been organized through the joint efforts of the District Administration Upper Dir and the Department of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Players from various areas of Upper Dir are participating in the championship and showcasing their badminton skills.
The tournament was formally inaugurated by Siddiqullah, who addressed the participants on the occasion. He said that such sporting activities play an important role in promoting positive trends among youth and in building a healthy society.
He further stated that organizing sports events during the holy month of Ramadan provides young players with an opportunity to demonstrate their talent while also contributing to the promotion of sports culture in the region.
At the conclusion of the championship, successful players will be awarded cash prizes and other awards.
