Bajaur: In Bajaur, police launched a crackdown against motorcyclists riding without documents and number plates, taking dozens of motorcycles into custody. The action was carried out across the district on the special instructions of District Police Officer (DPO) Bajaur, Muhammad Khalid.
According to police, special checkpoints were established on various highways as well as entry and exit points, where thorough checking of motorcyclists was conducted. During the operation, a large number of riders were stopped who were driving motorcycles without number plates or necessary documents. Several motorcycles found violating the law were taken into custody and shifted to the relevant police stations.
DPO Muhammad Khalid said that riding a motorcycle without registration and proper documents is a legal offense and can also create law and order issues. He urged citizens to complete the registration of their motorcycles, keep original documents with them, and ensure compliance with traffic rules.
He further stated that such operations will continue without interruption in order to protect the lives and property of the public and to curb the movement of criminal elements.
