ABBOTTABAD: Umeed Pakistan, in partnership with Mutasil Pakistan and the District Youth Office Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, organized a flood relief activity in Abbottabad to support families affected by the recent floods in Buner.
As part of this campaign, 1,080 bottles of clean drinking water were handed over to Alkhidmat Foundation, which will ensure timely delivery to the affected communities in Buner.
Speaking on the occasion, Sufyan Khan Jadoon, President of Mutasil Pakistan, emphasized that the participation of youth is the key to the success of any relief mission. He further noted that this activity reflects the commitment of young people to step forward not only in leadership but also in service to society.
Representatives of Umeed Pakistan highlighted that such relief initiatives are not merely acts of assistance but a moral responsibility to stand with citizens during times of crisis. They stressed that access to safe drinking water remains the most urgent need of the flood-affected families, and this collaboration marks a small yet meaningful step in that direction.
The activity concluded with a collective pledge to continue supporting the affected communities with firm dedication until full recovery is achieved.
