Afghanistan’s Unprovoked Aggression and Pakistan’s Strong Counter-Response on Pak-Afghan Border

Staff Report

RAWALPINDI:
Security sources have confirmed that following unprovoked aggression from the Afghan side, the Pakistan Army launched an immediate and effective counterattack, targeting multiple Afghan routes and foreign militant formations along the Pak-Afghan border.

According to security officials, several Afghan posts were destroyed, and heavy losses were inflicted on Afghan and foreign militant elements attempting to destabilize the border regions.

It has been revealed that bases of ISIS and ISIL inside Afghanistan, operating under the protection of the Afghan authorities, are being actively utilized against Pakistan. These bases are reportedly involved in drone and air resource manufacturing for terrorist activities.

Pakistan’s forces, employing artillery, tanks, and both light and heavy weapons, have successfully neutralized multiple enemy positions.

Sources further stated that Afghan headquarters sheltering ISIS and Khawarij (Fitna al-Kharij) are also being targeted as part of Pakistan’s ongoing counter-terrorism operations to ensure national security and regional stability.
