JAMRUD: Shah Kiss King Roshanabad won the trophy of the Aman Cricket Tournament in Jamrud, Ali Afridi was awarded the Best Bowler Award of the tournament, and the special guest, former member of the National Assembly, Shafiq Sher, distributed the trophy and other prizes. In the final of the peace cricket tournament held in Village Council Shah Kiss II of Jamrud Tehsil of Khyber District, Shah Kiss King Cricket Team batting first scored 110 runs in the stipulated 7 overs. In reply, Sam Ghakhi Star could not reach the target in the stipulated overs. Shah Kiss King Cricket Team Captain Ali Afridi won the award of best bowler. The special guest of the final match was former MPA Shafiq Sher Afridi and Chairman of Jamrud Tehsil Council Haji Azmat, Chairman of Village Council Shah Kiss II Akhtar Baz Afridi and other dignitaries distributed trophies and prizes among the players. Addressing the closing ceremony, former MPA Alhaj Shafiq Sher Afridi said that sports play an important role in attracting the youth towards positive activities. Organizing such tournaments promotes talent in the area. Participants and spectators paid tribute to the organizers for the successful organization of the tournament. Chairman Akhtar Baz said that VC Shah will work more for recreational activities for the youth of Kiss Two.
