TAKHT BHAI: Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, Central Leader of Awami National Party and former Chief Minister, said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been economically devastated, and the law and order situation has worsened, making life difficult for citizens. He stated that the government’s failed policies have ruined the province’s economy, NFC Award, health, education, and communication systems. He emphasized that the government should focus on solving the province’s problems using its own resources and working for the welfare of the people. In contrast, political parties’ workers should prioritize their party’s mission and hold public gatherings and processions. Unfortunately, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is more focused on releasing Imran Khan rather than working for the province’s rights.
He expressed these views while addressing a worker convention and joining ceremony in VC Daman Koh Takht Bhai. Former candidate Nawabzada Sher Afghan Khan , Tehsil President Mian Nasrullah, General Secretary Imtiaz Khan Advocate, and Mian Tahir Advocate also spoke on the occasion.Ameer Haider Khan Hoti criticized the provincial government, saying that the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is making decisions against the interests of the people. He mentioned the privatization of hospitals and educational institutions, and the sale of university lands, which he believes is a sign of the government’s incompetence. The PTI spokesperson responded, saying that the government is working to make institutions autonomous and effective through reforms, not privatization. He claimed that these measures are necessary for institutional improvement and transparency.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is not prioritizing people’s issues, and the law and order situation, especially in the southern districts, has worsened. The government’s grip on certain areas, such as the border regions and former FATA, is weak, and there is a lack of development and basic facilities. The recruitment process is not transparent, and the burden of non-transparent hiring practices is falling on the people. The government should focus on people’s welfare and development rather than political interests.
