CHARSADDA: A dignified and colorful annual prize distribution ceremony was held at Polaris School System, Charsadda, where students presented national songs along with various educational and cultural performances, earning warm appreciation from the audience.
Addressing the ceremony, Managing Director of the school, Engineer Salman, said that Polaris School System is committed to providing conceptual education in line with the requirements of the modern era. He emphasized that the institution focuses on moving away from rote learning and instead promotes understanding, creative thinking, and practical skills among students. He added that quality education is the foundation of a bright and successful future for children.
On the occasion, education experts Fatima and Dr. Sana Naeem highlighted that, according to a World Economic Forum report, around 92 million jobs are expected to be eliminated while 172 million new jobs will be created globally in the coming years, making the acquisition of new and relevant skills essential. They noted that rapid global changes place greater responsibility on educational institutions to equip students with modern knowledge along with practical and technical skills.
The speakers stressed the importance of providing a strong educational foundation at the primary level, enabling children to think critically, understand concepts, and develop curiosity. They said a solid foundation helps students perform better in higher stages of education and face future challenges with confidence.
Education experts and teachers further emphasized the need for promoting conceptual learning over rote memorization, stating that education should be easy to understand and meaningful for children. They underlined that education is the most reliable path to success and that conceptual education plays a vital role in mental development and practical life preparation.
They also urged parents and teachers to work together and give special attention to children’s education and upbringing in order to prepare a conscious, educated, and skill-oriented generation capable of contributing positively to the nation in a rapidly changing world.
