Islamabad: Lal Dino Mari Baloch, Chairman of Pakistan Front Movement (PFM) and Baloch International Congress Trust(BICT) congratulated Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on his appointment as Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu on the extension of his tenure, following the official notification issued by the Ministry of Defence.
In his statement, Baloch termed the decision timely, strategic, and aligned with modern security imperatives, adding that it will further strengthen Pakistan’s defence posture and enhance regional stability.
He praised Field Marshal Asim Munir’s professional excellence, saying,
“Field Marshal Asim Munir is a seasoned, visionary and highly accomplished military leader. His strategic insight, intelligence background and strong command experience place him among the most capable commanders of the present era. His appointment has clearly unsettled Pakistan’s adversaries.”
Baloch added that Pakistan is currently engaged on multiple fronts, requiring a bold and steady leader capable of confronting terrorism, hybrid warfare and external hostilities. He noted that India’s visible discomfort reflects the strength of the new defence leadership.
He further urged the CDF to strengthen military engagement with China and assure Beijing that Chinese citizens and projects in Pakistan remain fully secure.
Concluding his statement, Baloch said, “The Pakistan Front Movement stands firmly with the Pakistan Army and regards it as the ultimate guarantor of national survival and stability. As the first Baloch Chinese in Pakistan’s history, I remain committed to strengthening Pakistan–China relations, believing that this partnership is vital for Pakistan’s progress and economic revival.”
