Asian champions Pakistan have arrived in Zimbabwe to participate in the ICC Under-19 World Cup and triangular cricket series.

Asian champions Pakistan Under-19 cricket team has arrived in Zimbabwe to participate in thetriangular series and ICC Under-19 World Cup in Zimbabwe. The Pakistan Under-19 cricket team is being led by Farhan Yousuf. Before departure, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Mohsin Naqvi met the team and bid farewell to the players and officials with good wishes. The Pakistan Under-19 team left Islamabad via Dubai for Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe. The team management also reached Zimbabwe on the same flight, along with all 15 players in the squad. The tri-nation series will be played in Zimbabwe from December 25 to January 6. The tri-nation series includes Pakistan, Afghanistan and hosts Zimbabwe. The ICC Under-19 World Cup will be played in Namibia and Zimbabwe from January 14 to February 6. Both tournaments will be of 50 overs format.
The Pakistan U-19 team will play at least four matches in the triangular series. The final of the triangular series will be played on January 6. The Pakistan U-19 squad includes Farhan Yousuf (captain), Usman Khan (vice-captain), Abdul Subhan, Ahmed Hussain, Ali Hassan Baloch, Ali Raza, Daniyal Ali Khan, Hamza Zahoor, Huzaifa Ahsan, Omar Zeb, Momin Qamar, Muhammad Sayam, Muhammad Shayan, Niqab Shafiq, Sameer Minhas.
The schedule of thetriangular tournament is as follows.
The opening match will be played on December 25, Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan, at Harare Sports Club. December 27 – Afghanistan vs Pakistan, at Harare Sports Club. December 29 – Zimbabwe vs Pakistan, at Prince Edward Field. December 31 – Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan, at Sunrise Sports Club. January 2 – Pakistan vs Afghanistan, at Sunrise Sports Club. January 4 – Zimbabwe vs Pakistan, Old Harriers Sports Club The final will be played on January 6 at the Old Harriers Sports Club.
