CHARSADDA: Bacha Khan University Charsadda (BKUC) hosted a formal ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Blue Veins Peshawar, marking a significant milestone in strengthening academic, social, and community-oriented collaboration between the two institutions.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Khan Alam, Vice Chancellor of BKUC, along with representatives from Blue Veins Peshawar, including Shaheen Qureshi, Chairperson of Blue Veins, and other distinguished participants.
The MoU focuses on promoting youth leadership and inclusive civic participation through the project titled “Empowering Young Leadership for Inclusive Civic Participation.” Under this partnership, both institutions will jointly design and implement capacity-building initiatives, including trainings on youth leadership, civic education, and community engagement, aimed at nurturing socially responsible and empowered young leaders.
Addressing the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Khan Alam appreciated the constructive role of development organizations in collaborating with universities to enhance student engagement, community service, and applied learning opportunities. He emphasized that such partnerships are vital for bridging academia and community needs, while fostering active citizenship and inclusive development.
