PESHAWAR: Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Director General, Zahra Aslam, met with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, at the Governor House, Peshawar.
The meeting reviewed the ongoing social security programs, financial assistance to deserving families, and various welfare measures across the province.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi lauded the efforts of BISP, stating that the program plays a vital role in rehabilitating the downtrodden and vulnerable sections of society. He emphasized that under a coordinated federal and provincial strategy, the benefits of the program would be made more transparent and effective to ensure maximum deserving individuals receive direct assistance.
Director General Zahra Aslam briefed the Governor on the latest progress of BISP in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the registration process and the system of assistance delivery. She reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to the principles of transparency and public service.
