RAWALPINDI: General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI, NI (M), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), as a Chief Guest, attended the Victory Day Celebration ceremony of Armed Forces of Türkiye, held in Islamabad.
Distinguished civilian and military officials, media personnel, business leaders, members of diplomatic community and civil society were present during the ceremony, underscoring the wide-ranging support for the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Türkiye.
Chairman JCSC extended heartfelt felicitations on the occasion of Victory Day to the people of Türkiye, its political leadership and all ranks of the Turkish Armed Forces. In his address, Chairman JCSC highlighted the enduring, time-tested strategic and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Türkiye and reaffirmed shared resolve of both nations to further broaden and deepen this unique relationship across all domains, reflecting common values, mutual trust and strong partnership.
Earlier on arrival, CJCSC was received by Mr. Berk ECE, Chargé d’affaires of Türkiye Embassy in Pakistan.
