SWAT: Commissioner Malakand Division Abid Wazir along with Deputy Commissioner Swat Saleem Jan Marwat inaugurated the polio campaign starting from September 1, 2025 in Swat, Lower Dir and Upper Dir. He formally inaugurated the anti-polio campaign by administering polio drops to girls below the age of five at the Commissioner’s Office Saidu Sharif Swat. District Health Officer Swat Shahzad Ali Khan, N-Staff Officer Dr. Anwar Jamal, EPI Coordinator Dr. Liaqat Ali, Area Coordinator WHO Malakand Dr. Khawaja Irfan and Representative Provincial EOC Mujeebullah were also present on the occasion. Commissioner Malakand Division said on the occasion that cleanliness, balanced diet and vaccines are the guarantee of a healthy life for children, so parents are requested to ensure that their children below the age of five are given polio drops.
