CEO Felicitates; Friends of Paraplegics Announces Cash Prizes
Future of Rehabilitation Sciences in Pakistan is Extremely Bright, Dr. Syed Ilyas

Peshawar: The College of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (CPMR), Paraplegic Centre Peshawar, has created a new record by sweeping all top three positions in the National Research Quiz Competition held at Hayatabad, Peshawar. The intense intellectual contest, titled “Brain Storm Quiz Battle,” took place at the RMI Auditorium and saw participation from 27 rehabilitation teaching institutes across the country, including Khyber Medical University, IPM&R, RMI, RCRS, SHS, IHS, and PEF. All three teams from CPMR, Paraplegic Centre Peshawar, comprising both male and female students, delivered outstanding performances to claim the top three positions and win the overall competition along with the cash prize.
Meanwhile, CEO of Paraplegic Centre Peshawar, Dr. Syed Muhammad Ilyas, has warmly felicitated the students on this remarkable achievement and stated that this extraordinary success reflects the strong research foundation, analytical abilities and academic dedication of our students. Describing the growing interest of students in rehabilitation sciences as a highly positive sign, he emphasized that this victory has proven that the future of rehabilitation sciences in Pakistan is exceptionally bright and many more such historic successes are expected in the coming years.
The welfare body Friends of Paraplegics (FoP) has also announced cash awards for the top three teams of the National Research Quiz Competition. According to Chairman Engr SanaUllah Khan and General Secretary Engr Muhammad Irfan, the students of all three winning teams will be presented with cash prizes and certificates of appreciation at a grand ceremony marking World Disability Day on 3rd December at Paraplegic Centre Peshawar, wherein Provincial Health Minister Mian Khaliq-ur-Rahman will be the chief guest.
