GADANI: Customs Enforcement, Gadani has seized 109.5 kilograms of hashish (chars) worth an estimated Rs.273 million at the Customs Check Post Khurkhera.
According to details, on December 23, 2025, at around 12:30 a.m., acting on intelligence shared by the Chief Collector of Customs Enforcement, Islamabad, officials at the Khurkhera Check Post intercepted a Hino truck (registration No. SEA-312) traveling from Zhob to Quetta.
During a thorough search of the vehicle, customs staff recovered 109.5 kg of hashish concealed in specially made cavities. The seized narcotics carry an estimated international value of Rs.273 million, while the vehicle used for transportation is valued at approximately Rs.15 million.
Both the narcotics and the vehicle have been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway.
Customs Enforcement, Gadani has reaffirmed its strong commitment to curbing narcotics smuggling and safeguarding society from the menace of illegal drugs.
