LAHORE: DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry visited Punjab University Lahore, where he was warmly welcomed by students and the university administration.
During his visit, the DG ISPR held a special session with male and female students and answered their questions. The students expressed their strong resolve to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army in defense of the motherland.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry also met Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad and faculty members. On the occasion, students and faculty members paid tribute to the Pakistan Army for defeating India.
Participants of the session said, “For the defense of the beloved homeland, teachers and students always stand with the Pakistan Army.” They added that “doubts and suspicions caused by negative propaganda against Pakistan Army have been removed.”
The students further said, “In conversation with DG ISPR, awareness was gained regarding disinformation and fake news.” They emphasized that “such sessions are essential to dispel misunderstandings among the youth.”
