Dera Ismail Khan: A representative delegation of DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) students met with Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Latif Khan Gondal at the Agricultural University of Dera Ismail Khan to discuss various academic, teaching, practical, and administrative issues.
During the meeting, students politely highlighted challenges such as irregular class schedules, lack of modern equipment and facilities in laboratories, limited practical training opportunities, hostel and transport-related problems, and other departmental matters. They expressed hope that the university administration would take immediate and effective measures to resolve these issues to ensure uninterrupted academic activities.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Latif Khan Gondal attentively listened to the students’ concerns, discussing each point in detail. He assured them that all legitimate issues would be addressed on a priority basis, emphasizing that no negligence would be tolerated. He directed the administrative officers to conduct a comprehensive review of the DVM department’s issues and propose actionable recommendations to ensure the prompt resolution of student problems.
The Vice Chancellor further emphasized that students are the foundation of any educational institution, and providing them with quality education and excellent facilities is the foremost responsibility of the university administration. He reaffirmed his commitment to utilizing all available resources to make the Agricultural University a model educational institution.
Dr. Gondal also advised students to remain focused on their studies and to contact the relevant authorities directly in case of any issues, so that timely solutions could be provided. The student delegation expressed their gratitude for the VC’s attention and assurance of prompt action, hoping that the administration’s initiatives would soon yield positive results.
