Five Teams Secure Wins in U-19 One-Day Cup Sixth Round

Peshawar Four more matches have been decided in the National Men’s Under-19 One-Day Cup. Azad Jammu and Kashmir defeated Dera Murad Jamali by 38 runs at Mir Awais Ground, Shah Alam. Azad Jammu and Kashmir batted first and scored 217 runs. Bilal Ahmed scored 51 runs with the help of 8 fours. Zain Jamil scored 44 and Ahmed Raza scored 31 runs. In reply, Dera Murad Jamali’s team was bundled out for 179. Zeeshan Dad took four wickets. Match referee Sohail Khan and scorer Noor Muhammad. Islamabad defeated Bahawalpur by 13 runs at Hayatabad Stadium. Islamabad batted first and were bowled out for 138 runs. Munib was the top scorer with a total of 35 runs. Bahawalpur’s Muhammad Hamid and Haseeb Ahmed dismissed three players each. In reply, Bahawalpur’s team could score 105 runs. Islamabad’s Irfan Shah took five wickets. The match was supervised by Sultan Mahmood and Faheem Bukhari. Nadeem Akhtar performed the duties of the scorer. Karachi Whites defeated Lahore Whites by 4 wickets at the Ashfaq Ground in Charsadda. Lahore Whites batted first and the entire team was bowled out for 215 runs. Hasnain Abbas Dar scored 32 runs while Hamza Zahoor and Abbas Khan scored 26 runs each. Karachi White’s Huzaifa Ahsan and Asad Umar scored four runs. Four wickets were taken. In reply, Karachi achieved the target for the loss of six wickets. Saad Sakhawat remained unbeaten on 40 runs. Awan Abbas scored 35 and Huzaifa Ahsan scored 34 runs. Karachi wicketkeeper Sajjad Ahmed took four catches and one stumping.
In the match played at the Shamma Ground, Rawalpindi Region defeated Hyderabad by five wickets. Hyderabad’s team could score 96 runs, Shahabuddin scored 18 runs. Rawalpindi’s Mir Hamza dismissed five players for eleven runs. In reply, Rawalpindi achieved the score for the loss of five wickets. Ibadul Qadir remained unbeaten on 50 runs.
Abbottabad defeated Peshawar by one wicket. Batting first, Peshawar scored 202 runs. Ahmed Hussain scored 100 runs with the help of thirteen fours. Muhammad Hussain scored 63 runs with the help of eight fours. In reply, Abbottabad achieved the target with the loss of 9 wickets and won the match by one wicket. Muhammad Shayan played a good innings of 59 runs. Abdul Lohab and Yasir Ali scored 34 runs each.
