Lower Dir: A team of 14 bikers, including seven international female bikers, reached Lower Dir as part of their mission to promote tourism in Pakistan.
The convoy, comprising seven foreign and seven Pakistani bikers, arrived in Dir after traveling through scenic northern destinations including Bisham, Gilgit, Hunza, Khunjerab, Shandur, and Upper Dir.
The Lower Dir administration gave a warm welcome to the bikers and arranged special security and hospitality measures for the foreign guests.
During their 15-day adventure, the bikers expressed admiration for the breathtaking landscapes and hospitality of the local people. The foreign participants included two bikers from Canada, three from New Zealand, one from the UK, and one from France.
Pakistani riders included two women, Anbar and Ayesha, along with Hassan, Moinuddin, Sajjad, Mehboob, and Syed Aitzaz.
“The northern regions of Pakistan are stunning, and the people are warm and welcoming,” said the foreign bikers.
“We found Pakistan to be a safe, beautiful, and peaceful country. This experience is unforgettable, and we will share our stories globally to highlight Pakistan’s positive image.”
The bikers thanked the people of Lower Dir for their hospitality and admired the rich local culture. They emphasized that Pakistan offers immense potential for adventure tourism, with its magnificent mountains, valleys, and traditions.
Local residents noted that the arrival of international bikers will boost Dir’s recognition on the global tourism map, adding new energy to the region’s travel activities.
“We would love to return to Pakistan this journey has been truly memorable,” the bikers said.
