JAMRUD: In a bid to maintain law and order and rid the area of narcotics, Jamrud police have intensified their operations under the supervision of SHO Nasim Afridi. Over the past week, the police have conducted successful raids, seizing heroin, liquor, and charas worth thousands of rupees. Four drug peddlers have been arrested and brought to justice.
The operations were primarily carried out in sensitive areas of Wazir Dhand and Baghyaari, where a campaign against narcotics smuggling and illegal trade has been stepped up. SHO Nasim Afridi told the media that the police are determined to completely eliminate narcotics from the area and ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property.
During the past week, several shops of drug peddlers were shut down, and cases were registered against them. SHO Ñasim Afridi emphasized that the police will continue their efforts to keep the area free from narcotics and maintain peace. He appealed to the public to cooperate with the police and provide information about drug peddlers to help eradicate crime.
The police are committed to intensifying their campaign against narcotics and taking strict action against anyone involved in the trade.
