Tank: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, visited Tank, where he laid a floral wreath at the Police Martyrs’ Memorial located in the police lines and offered prayers for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks. On this occasion, the Governor met with the families of the police martyrs and assured them of all possible support and assistance.
Later, the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa spoke to media representatives, during which a question-and-answer session on various issues took place.
Upon his arrival, Divisional Senior Vice President of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Fatah Sher Khan Mehsud, District President PPP Tank Sardar Hidayatullah Khan Gandapur, South Waziristan President Shams Mehsud, senior PPP leader Nadeem Awam Dost, Malik Syed Muhammad Khan Ashangi, Sardar Amanullah Mehsud, along with other party leaders, gave him a warm welcome as he disembarked from the helicopter.
Subsequently, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi visited the residence of Sardar Hidayatullah Khan Gandapur, where a special luncheon was arranged in his honor. On this occasion, the Governor also addressed senior leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party.
During the visit, foolproof security arrangements were made across District Tank. District Police Officer Tank, Shabbir Hussain Marwat, personally supervised the security arrangements and remained present on the spot. However, surprisingly, Deputy Commissioner Tank, Tanveer Khattak, was not seen anywhere during the visit.
On this occasion, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi paid tribute to the sacrifices of the police and security forces, stating that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and security institutions have made unparalleled sacrifices for the country’s security and have laid down their lives for the beloved homeland—sacrifices that the nation can never forget.
