HMC, Doctors Resolve Strike Patient Care Restored

PESHAWAR: The management of Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) has successfully reached an agreement with the doctors who were on strike. This understanding marks a positive step towards ensuring the continuation of uninterrupted healthcare services at the hospital.

It is important to note that during the course of the strike, emergency and trauma services remained fully operational under the supervision of HMC management to ensure that patients in critical condition continued to receive immediate medical attention.

The management highly values the dedication and hard work of its medical staff and appreciates their willingness to resolve the matter amicably. With this agreement, all hospital services including the Outpatient Department (OPD), inpatient services, operation theatres, and accident & emergency services have now been fully restored.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sherzaman, Hospital Director, and Dr. Shahsawar, Medical Director, reaffirmed the administration’s unwavering commitment to patient care. They emphasized that the well-being of patients will always remain the hospital’s top priority, and every possible step will be taken to ensure the provision of quality healthcare facilities without interruption.
