DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A historic youth convention was organized by Headquarters Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (South) in the central city of South Waziristan. Inspector General Frontier Corps (South) Major General Mehr Umar Khan Niazi attended as the special guest.
A large number of youth, teachers, women, and tribal elders participated and pledged to promote education, sports, and welfare activities for the development of the region. Outstanding personalities from various fields were also honored during the event.
On the occasion, IG FC (South) announced that the Angor Adda Border Terminal will be reopened for trade by September 30, 2025. He also revealed that talented students will be granted admissions in Army Public Schools across the country under the Army Chief Education Package.
It was further announced that digital skills courses and a grand sports festival for male and female students will soon be organized.
Participants highly appreciated the initiatives of the Pakistan Army and FC South for their contributions to women’s education, welfare projects, and infrastructure development, assuring full support and cooperation.
