PESHAWAR: Javed Iqbal a resident of Bilal Colony Kohat Road, Peshawar, the brother of Jamal Abdul Khalid, who went to the valley of death due to the persecution of his son, has demanded an independent investigation into the murder of his brother Jamal Abdul Khalid, as his step son Shahid Jamal had brutalized him so much that he lost his life. Addressing a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club here on friday.
Javed Iqbal said that yesterday his step-nephew Shahid Jamal showered him with baseless allegations which have nothing to do with reality. He said that his brother Jamal Abdul Khalid deprived his step son of his movable etc. property and all matters during his lifetime. While Shahid Jamal had no blood relation with Jamal Abdul Khalid.
Javed Iqbal further said that in this regard he has also recorded a statement in the court under 174 and he has also given a request to the police to conduct an independent investigation into the murder of my brother and to take legal action against Shahid Jamal who claims to be his true guarantor. They are resorting to media to hide their role and giving another side to the case,
He added that we demand CCP Peshawar Mian Saeed and top police officials to investigate the murder of Jamal Abdul Khalid who died due to the persecution of his step son because at this time all the wealth is in the possession of Shahid Jamal and he is taking the support of his aunt to prove himself as a victim because his aunt also has his brother Jamal. Abdul Khalid’s trusts are lying in millions, he said that we have no interest in anything, so justice should be provided to us and the law should be upheld.
