IRSP hosted one-day training workshop

TAKHT BHAI: The IRSP (Integrated Rural Support Program) organized a one-day training workshop in Takht Bhai, under the supervision of the Assistant Commissioner, to enhance community participation and transparency in decision-making and problem-solving for public issues through public audit. The workshop was attended by a large number of participants, including media representatives and social workers, both men and women.
The organizers informed the participants about the basic issues faced by society and the methodology for addressing them. They emphasized the importance of community involvement in identifying and solving problems, maintaining transparency, and engaging with relevant government departments through effective social audit.
The participants were divided into groups and given exercises to identify various issues in their communities and develop strategies to address them using charts. At the conclusion of the workshop, Assistant Commissioner Takht bhai Adnan Mumtaz Khattak addressed and praised the IRSP for organizing the event. He acknowledged the vital role of civil society organizations in supporting the government in addressing public issues and emphasized that such collaborations can significantly reduce the challenges faced by both the government and the public.
