PESHAWAR: A Joint Program Review Mission comprising national and international consultants visited the Provincial TB Control Program Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to assess program performance, identify gaps and bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for the upcoming grant cycle.
The mission focused on reviewing key components of service delivery, diagnostics, supply chain, monitoring and evaluation, and community-level interventions. Consultants engaged with program teams, stakeholders, and implementing partners to ensure a comprehensive understanding of operational strengths and areas requiring improvement.
The review mission concluded with an official debriefing to the Director General Health Services, during which the team acknowledged and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the Provincial TB Control Program and the Health Department. The mission commended the ongoing commitment to strengthening TB prevention, diagnosis, and treatment services across the province.
Recommendations from the mission will support strategic planning and enhanced implementation under the forthcoming grant period.
