Karachi: In the 35th National Games, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa women’s squash team performed well and won the second position in the team event.also won a silver and a browns medal in the individual events as well.In the women’s individual final played at Jahangir Khan Squash Acadmy,Pak Army’s Zainab Khan won the gold medal by defeating Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mah Noor Ali 3-1.

In the first two games of the final, Zainab Khan led 11-8 and 11-8, but in the third game Mahnoor Ali made a brilliant comeback to win 12-10. In the fourth game, Zainab Khan showed her experienced game and won the game 11-3 and won the match 3-1 to win the gold medal, while Mahnoor Ali won the silver medal. In the team event, Pakistan Army won the gold, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa won the silver, while Balochistan and Punjab won the brown medals. Earlier in the semi-finals, Mehnoor Ali defeated Sahrish Ali while Zainab Khan defeated Faiza Zafar in the street games. Zahra Abdullah was serving as the head coach with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa women’s squash team
