JAMRUD: The newly appointed District Police Officer (DPO) of Khyber, Waqar Ahmed, has visited Jamrud and Malagori to assess the security situation and meet with tribal elders. During his visit, he reviewed the police stations’ records, personnel attendance, security arrangements, and duty systems.
Ahmed emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and combating crime, particularly drug trafficking, in the region. He assured the tribal elders that the police would work closely with the community to resolve disputes through dialogue and mutual understanding.
The DPO also praised the unity among the Kuki Khel and Malagori tribes, saying it serves as a beacon of hope for other tribes in the region. He reiterated that the police would stand with the community to eliminate enmity and promote peace.
