KP Artists’ Registration Process Revamped as All Artists Association Meets Culture Authority Official

A delegation of the All Artists Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa held a special meeting with Haseena Shaukat, Deputy Director of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority, at Nishtar Hall, Peshawar. The meeting was held in a cordial and positive atmosphere, during which key issues related to artists and cultural development were discussed in detail.

The delegation included Patron-in-Chief Bilal Khan alias Beebo, Provincial President Saeeda Khan, General Secretary Khushhal Haider, District President Peshawar of the Women Wing Reema Khan, Finance Secretary Majnoon Sarhadi, Joint Secretary Akbar Ali, Office Secretary Ismail Shahid, along with other office-bearers.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding amendments to the artists’ registration form issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority. Following the consultation, a revised and updated registration form has been officially issued.

Under the new registration system, comprehensive data of artists from all fields of art will be collected. The registration will include student artists, rabab players, singers, drama artists, dhol players, musicians, cameramen, producers, directors, poets, writers, newscasters, sound technicians, and individuals associated with other forms of art. All registrations will be carried out at Nishtar Hall.

It was stated that the initiative will help establish a complete and organized database of artists across the province. Moreover, registered artists will be provided opportunities to showcase their talent in various programs and events organized at Nishtar Hall.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Deputy Director Haseena Shaukat thanked the delegation of the All Artists Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and said that artists are a valuable asset of the province. She reaffirmed that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority would continue to extend full support for the welfare, development, and promotion of artists.
