KOHAT: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Aftab Alam Advocate has visited the Tribal Sub Division (TSD) Darra Adam Khel (DAK) where he inspected the ongoing work on the Aara Khel–Jammu Road along with the Gumbat Tehsil Chairman Sajid Iqbal and the road inspection team. The minister reviewed the ongoing construction works and directed the authorities concerned and contractor to ensure strict adherence to quality standards.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Aftab Alam said, “Public welfare projects are the top priority of the government. Transparency, quality, and timely completion are the key elements of our development vision. ‘’He emphasized that good governance and infrastructure improvement are essential for long-term progress adding that negligence or corruption in development schemes would not be tolerated.
The minister underlined that contractors and relevant departments must deliver durable projects that directly benefit the people and leave a lasting impact for future generations.
Meanwhile, on the special directives of Law Minister Aftab Alam Advocate and Member National Assembly Shehryar Afridi, Tehsil Chairman Gumbat Sajid Iqbal inspected the asphalt work on Gumbat Main Road. He checked the quality of work and instructed the contractor to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe to provide improved travel facilities to the public.
