KOHAT: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Aftab Alam Advocate, has paid a surprise visit to Government Boys High School Tora Stanna along with the Chairman Tehsil Gumbat Sajid Iqbal.
During the visit, the Minister conducted a detailed review of the school’s academic system, teaching standards, teachers’ attendance and basic facilities being provided to students. He also inspected several classrooms, interacted with the teachers and students and gathered firsthand information about the teaching and learning process.
Aftab Alam also examined the condition of school facilities, including cleanliness, furniture and overall administrative arrangements. Expressing concern over absenteeism, he directed the District Officer (Education) to take immediate action against the absent teachers and ensure daily monitoring of staff attendance.
“There will be no compromise on academic discipline,” the law minister said, stressing that strict action would be taken against negligence affecting educational standards. He added that students’ future is directly linked to the future of the nation, and teachers must perform their professional duties with honesty and commitment.
The minister reaffirmed that the provincial government is taking all possible steps to improve the quality of education in public sector institutions.
Chairman Tehsil Gumbat on this occasion also assured full cooperation with to achieve the desired goals.
