KOHAT: Commissioner Kohat Division Syed Motasim Billah Shah has chaired a high-level meeting on Wednesday evening to review the effective implementation of the Provincial Action Plan and the overall security situation in the division.
Security officials attended the meeting in person while deputy commissioners and district police officers from across the division joined via video link. The participants reviewed security measures, their pace of implementation and discussed the future course of action in detail.
The meeting decided to intensify coordinated operations against anti-state elements and underlined the need for stronger inter-agency cooperation. Emphasis was also placed on public support as a cornerstone for lasting peace.
Shah said strict adherence to the Provincial Action Plan was essential and warned that any negligence in maintaining law and order would not be tolerated. He stressed that “Pakistan belongs to all of us and every citizen must play their part in safeguarding its peace and security.”
The commissioner added that closer collaboration between the security agencies and the civil administration was vital to ensure a safe and peaceful environment for the public.
