- Astana Praises Islamabad’s Leadership in Global Peace Efforts
Islamabad – In a significant endorsement of Pakistan’s growing diplomatic influence, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has warmly welcomed the successful agreement on a full ceasefire and truce in the Middle East. The landmark development was achieved through the mediation of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir.

President Tokayev described the ceasefire as a major diplomatic breakthrough, reflecting the effectiveness of dialogue, restraint, and constructive engagement.
