Peshawar Cantt Board Conducts Operation Against Illegal Encroachments

On the instructions of the Station Commander, Peshawar Cantt Board, and under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, Chaudhry Babar Hussain, the Peshawar Cantonment Board carried out a robust operation against illegal encroachments. The operation was conducted in Shoba Bazaar, Khyber Bazaar, and Cinema Road.

The Cantt Board’s Enforcement Team, along with local police, jointly participated in the operation and took comprehensive action against encroachments. During the drive, dozens of illegal stalls were demolished, unlawfully occupied areas were cleared, and fines were imposed on shopkeepers found violating the regulations. Additionally, illegally placed handcarts were also confiscated.

A spokesperson for the Peshawar Cantt Board stated that the purpose of this operation is to provide citizens with an open and smooth environment for movement, ensuring that traffic flow remains uninterrupted and the public does not face inconvenience. He added that the Cantt Board is committed to a zero-tolerance policy against illegal encroachments and that any violation will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

The general public has been urged to avoid encroachments, follow the rules and regulations, and cooperate with the Cantt Board in making the city clean, beautiful, and peaceful.

The Peshawar Cantt Board has made it clear that this operation against illegal encroachments will continue without interruption, and stricter actions will be taken against violators in the future.
