Islamabad: Lal Dino Mari Baloch, Chairman of the Pakistan Front Movement and the Baloch International Congress Trust, has emphasized that sustainable peace in Balochistan is the foremost need of the hour. He expressed concern that despite the province’s rich natural resources, vast economic potential, and hardworking people, Balochistan still awaits the progress and facilities it rightfully deserves. Addressing the longstanding deprivation of the province, he said it is a national responsibility that must no longer be delayed.
He reaffirmed that the Baloch people are dignified, patriotic, and loyal to the state, having made countless sacrifices for national stability. Baloch stressed that a new era of trust and cooperation can be built through mutual respect and open dialogue between state institutions and the people of Balochistan. “Confrontation is never the solution; dialogue and reconciliation are the path that unites the nation,” he stated.
Regarding disgruntled Baloch groups, he urged that their genuine concerns must be heard sincerely and resolved peacefully, noting that this is both a political and moral obligation. He added that the real future of Balochistan lies in education, economic growth, job creation, and long-term peace.
The Chairman highlighted China’s genuine interest in supporting peace and development in Balochistan through major economic initiatives aimed at reducing poverty, expanding employment, and creating new opportunities for youth. He said such partnership can become a historic turning point—provided peace and stability are prioritized.
Concluding his statement, Lal Dino Mari Baloch said that Pakistan’s progress is incomplete without Balochistan, and Balochistan’s development is impossible without peace. He urged all stakeholders to move forward together toward a united, peaceful, and prosperous future.
