PPP GS Humayun Khan Reviews Plan for Girls Technical Institute in Malakand

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Secretary General Muhammad Humayun Khan held a meeting with Executive Director of Waheeda Mahesar Technical Vocational Institute, Ms. Waheeda Mahesar, in Karachi, where discussions focused on the establishment and construction of a Girls Technical Vocational Institute in Batkhela, Malakand, on the instructions of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

During the meeting, Ms. Waheeda Mahesar briefed Muhammad Humayun Khan on the proposed Girls Technical Vocational Institute in Malakand. She highlighted the objectives of the project, proposed training sectors, and the comprehensive action plan aimed at providing modern technical and vocational skills to women.

Muhammad Humayun Khan appreciated the effective performance, professional planning, and strong strategy of Waheeda Mahesar’s Technical Vocational Institute for Women, terming it a model initiative for women’s empowerment.

He said that the establishment of a Girls Technical Vocational Institute in Malakand under the vision of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is a strong and practical step toward empowering women and promoting economic independence in the region.

The PPP Secretary General added that the initiative by the Sindh government of the Pakistan Peoples Party is a revolutionary move that will enable women of Batkhela and surrounding areas to acquire modern technical skills in various fields. These skills, he said, will not only enhance employment opportunities for women but also contribute positively to the overall socio-economic development of Malakand.

He further described the institute as a valuable gift from Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to the brave and hardworking women of Malakand.

On behalf of the people of Malakand, Muhammad Humayun Khan expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the Sindh government for ensuring representation of the region in development projects and prioritizing women-focused initiatives.
