ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Pakistan, Albert P. Khorev, delivered a lecture to students at the Pakistan Foreign Service Academy, highlighting key aspects of Russia–Pakistan relations and contemporary regional issues.
During his address, Ambassador Khorev briefed future Pakistani diplomats on major milestones in bilateral relations and the current state of dialogue between Russia and Pakistan. He noted that both countries have made notable progress in political and economic cooperation in recent years.
The Ambassador also shared Russia’s perspective on the situation in and around Ukraine, outlining what he described as the root causes of the Ukrainian crisis and the destabilizing role of Western countries in the wider Eurasian region.
Concluding his lecture, Ambassador Khorev wished the students success in their future diplomatic careers and service to Pakistan.
Later, Ambassador Khorev, along with Director General of the Foreign Service Academy Syed Ali Asad Gillani, participated in a tree-planting ceremony at the academy premises.
