SWABI: Advisor to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, paid an official visit to Captain Karnal Sher Khan Cadet College Swabi on Tuesday, where he was warmly received by the Principal, Brigadier (Retd) Muhammad Arshad Moeen, and other senior staff members of the institution. Upon arrival, Barrister Saif was given a detailed briefing by the Vice Principal Group Captain Murtaza regarding the college’s history, academic achievements, and infrastructure. Established in 2011, the cadet college spans a vast area of 820 acres and currently comprises two academic blocks and six residential hostels, offering both educational and residential facilities for its cadets. Highlighting the college’s academic excellence, the Vice Principal noted that the institution has consistently performed well in both Matric and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations. Notably, seven of its students have secured top-three positions in the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mardan, underscoring the college’s commitment to high academic standards. In addition to academics, the college offers a wide range of co-curricular and sports facilities, including cricket, hockey, athletics, horse riding, and swimming. The character-building of cadets remains a central focus of the institution’s mission, aimed at preparing well-rounded individuals ready to contribute positively to society. Barrister Saif visited classrooms, laboratories, and the college library, where he interacted informally with cadets, inquiring about their academic activities and future aspirations. He praised the discipline and enthusiasm of the students and expressed satisfaction over the facilities being provided. In his address to cadets at the college auditorium, Barrister Saif emphasized the importance of patriotism, discipline, and hard work. “Pakistan is our motherland. It is our collective duty to work for its unity, solidarity, and prosperity,” he remarked. Encouraging the cadets to seize the opportunity for holistic development, he urged them to strive for excellence and become future leaders of the nation. Commending the leadership of Principal Brigadier (Retd) Muhammad Arshad Moeen and the dedication of the faculty, Barrister Saif assured the college administration of full support from the provincial government in further enhancing educational and developmental initiatives.
