Peshawar: Secretary Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Asif visited Hayatabad Cricket Stadium, where he was briefed on the affairs and ongoing activities of the Hayatabad Cricket Academy, Peshawar.
During the visit, Head Coach Ashfaq Ahmed (PCB Level-II), along with Owais Khan and Haroon Sahib from the Directorate General Sports, Hayatabad Cricket Academy, were also present.
The Secretary Sports reviewed the academy’s facilities, coaching system, and the process of grooming young players. He held a detailed discussion with the concerned officials regarding player development and operational matters.
Emphasizing the importance of youth training and improvement of basic facilities, Muhammad Asif said that cricket academies serve as nurseries of talent in the province, and ensuring their effective performance is among the top priorities of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
