Senior Civil Officers’ Delegation Visits HBK Complex Peshawar

PESHAWAR: A delegation of senior civil officers from across the country visited HBK Complex, Peshawar, as part of the 38th Senior Management Course (SMC) organized by the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Islamabad.

The delegation, comprising 18 participant officers of BPS-19, accompanied by directing staff and protocol officers, was warmly welcomed by Mr. Amir Khan, Director HBK Group of Companies, at HBK Complex along with his management team.

During the visit, Mr. Imdad Khan (CEO) and Director Amir Khan briefed the delegation on the company’s role, production processes, management strategies, and operational systems. They also highlighted the hurdles faced by industrialists in Pakistan, particularly issues relating to export tariff chargeability, and proposed constructive recommendations for bridging the gap between the business community and government regulatory authorities.

The officers commended HBK Blanket Industries for its significant contribution towards strengthening the industrial base of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and generating employment opportunities. They termed the interaction highly insightful and valuable.

The visit formed part of the Inland Study Tour of the SMC, designed to enhance the professional capacity of senior civil officers through practical exposure to the decision-making processes and operational frameworks of leading public and private sector organizations.
