UPPER DIR : Youth Office Upper Dir Organized Session on Hotel Management and Tour Guiding
in the collabration with the District Youth Office Upper Dir, District Administration and Kalkot Youth Movement, organized a one-day session on the topic “Hotel Management and Tour Guiding” in Kalkot on September 19, 2025. The session was held in accordance with the directives of Deputy Commissioner Upper Dir, Naveed Akbar, and Director Directorate of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Noman Mujahid.
Muhammad Zada, President of Kalkot Youth Movement, delivered a detailed lecture on the importance of hotel management and tour guiding.
Muhammad Zada has proposed practical business ideas that students can start on a small scale, including identifying local tourist spots.
A question-and-answer session was held, allowing students to ask direct questions.
District Youth Officer Shahzad Tariq highlighted the role of the Youth Office and announced that similar positive and skill-based activities would be continued in every tehsil.
He emphasized that the primary objective of the Youth Office is to engage youth in positive and constructive activities, equipping them with technical and vocational skills to become active members of society.
