SHAHEED FAMILIES DEMAND JUSTICE

IMRAN AFRIDI

Jamrud Representative of Shaheed Families, Malik Parviaz, has demanded that Chief Minister Kher Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, grant an immediate meeting to the Shaheed Committee delegation to resolve the serious issues faced by the families of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Special Dabar and Levy Force shaheeds.

Addressing a press conference at Jamrood Press Club, Malik Parvaiz said that the shaheeds of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Special Dabar and Levy Force have also made great sacrifices for the country, and therefore, their families should be given all the benefits as given to other shaheeds of the country. These benefits include payment of salaries till the age of 60, free education for children, free medical treatment, and pension facilities.

Malik Parvaiz said that they hope that the Chief Minister Kher Pakhtunkhwa will recognize the legitimate demands of the shaheed families and grant them justice. He warned that if these issues are not resolved within a week, the shaheed families will be forced to protest again, and various options will be considered.

He said that their protest will not be against anyone, but for their legitimate rights, and the responsibility for any consequences will lie with the concerned authorities.
