Shangla District Judiciary Digitizes 30 Years of Court Records

Shangla : The District Judiciary of Shangla has successfully digitized nearly 30 years of judicial records, becoming the first district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to fully digitalize and upload case files dating back to 1995.

The six-month project was completed under the supervision of District & Sessions Judge Shangla, Mr. Mamrez Khan Khalil, in accordance with the Peshawar High Court’s vision to modernize court archives and enhance public access to judicial information.

To recognize the hard work and commitment of the staff involved in the digitization process, a Certificate Distribution Ceremony was held. The event was attended by Arbab Aziz Ahmad, Additional Registrar Peshawar High Court Mingora Bench; Fawad Khan, Deputy Commissioner Shangla; the District Police Officer; SP Investigation; representatives of the District Bar Association Shangla; and other notable guests.

District & Sessions Judge Mamrez Khan Khalil praised the team’s dedication, stating that digitization will significantly improve transparency, administrative efficiency, and accessibility for litigants and the public. The digitized records are now available on the official website of the District Judiciary Shangla.
