Son of Retired Soldier, Captain Dr. Noman Saleem, Embraces Shahadat in Kurram

Staff Report

RAWALPINDI: The brave and worthy son of a retired soldier of the Pakistan Army, Captain Dr. Noman Saleem, was martyred today during an operation in Kurram District.

Captain Noman, aged 24, hailed from District Mianwali and belonged to a simple yet courageous family. He was the son of Muhammad Saleem (Retired Soldier, Pakistan Army) — a devoted father who, through years of hard work and sacrifice, fulfilled his dream of making his son a doctor.

Only one year and six months into his service, Captain Dr. Noman had already proven himself as a professional, compassionate, and committed officer who combined the healing role of a doctor with the bravery of a soldier.

It is deeply moving to reflect that a soldier father, who spent his life serving the nation, raised a son who not only healed lives but ultimately gave his own life for the motherland.

While fighting against the Khwarij, Captain Noman upheld the finest traditions of the Pakistan Army — courage, loyalty, and devotion to duty. His sacrifice stands as a shining chapter in the nation’s history, reminding future generations that love for the country is the highest honor, and martyrdom the greatest reward.
