PESHAWAR: On the special instructions of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, the Directorate of Sports organized a sports festival at Zamong Kor, an institution established for orphaned and destitute children.
The festival witnessed the participation of more than 500 children from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who took part in various healthy and recreational sports activities. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, confidence, and a positive environment for children from vulnerable backgrounds.

Speaking on the occasion, Sports Advisor Taj Muhammad Tarand said that orphaned and destitute children deserve special attention and care from society. He expressed satisfaction that the Directorate of Sports is extending healthy and constructive activities to such children, enabling them to grow in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
He added that the provincial government remains committed to inclusive sports initiatives that ensure equal opportunities for all children across the province.
