WAPDA Clinches Top Position in Bodybuilding Events at the 35th National Games

Karachi (Sports Reporter) WAPDA dominated the IFBB Mr. Pakistan Olympic Bodybuilding Championship 2025, organized under the Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation, securing first place with an impressive total of 156 points. WAPDA athletes delivered an outstanding performance, winning 8 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze medals. Muhammad Yaseen claimed the prestigious Mr. Pakistan Olympic Bodybuilding title.

Director General and President WAPDA Sports Board Imdadullah Memon distributed prizes among the winners. President of Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation Tariq Pervaiz, Deputy Chef de Mission Rehmat Gul Afridi, Regional Sports Officer Kashif Farhan, Muhammad Shiraz, and other prominent personalities were also present on the occasion.

Pakistan Army secured second place with 34 points, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa finished third with 30 points. KP bagged one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals. Shahid Khan from Peshawar won gold in the 85kg category, Ilyas Khalid claimed silver in the 60kg category, while Hamza Khan (65kg) and Khalid (90kg) earned bronze medals.

Balochistan secured fourth position with 15 points, Sindh finished fifth with 13 points, Punjab came sixth with 11 points, Police seventh with 10 points, Railways eighth with 8 points and HEC stood ninth with 4 points.

Athletes displayed great enthusiasm across various weight categories and the organizing committee was praised for making excellent arrangements. Officials of the Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation congratulated the winning athletes, stating that bodybuilding competitions at the National Games are gaining popularity with each passing year.
