PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister on Law and Parliamentary Affairs Aftab Alam Advocate has formally inaugurated the construction of 2 new roads in the Union Council Bilitang, Siyab area, district Kohat, aimed at improving the local infrastructure and easing public mobility.
The inaugural ceremony beside others, was also attended by the Chairman Tehsil Gumbat Sajid Iqbal, senior leader Haji Sher Zaman Afridi and large number of the PTI workers.
Residents had long complained about the poor state of roads in the area, which disrupted transport, delayed patient access to the hospitals and created difficulties for students. Local elders said, the new roads fulfilled a long-awaited demand, crediting MNA Shehryar Afridi, Minister Aftab Alam and Chairman Iqbal for addressing the issue.
Mr. Alam said the roads reflected the provincial government’s commitment to people-friendly policies and pledged continued efforts to resolve basic problems. He added that the new roads would provide long-term social and economic benefits for the residents of Siyab and surrounding areas.
The Locals welcomed the roads, calling it an important step toward the region’s development.
