MALAKAND: The 2nd meeting of the Regional Board of Management of Al-Khidmat Foundation KP North was held at Aghosh Orphanage Gulabad, Lower Dir, under the chairmanship of President Fazal Mehmood.
During the session, board members were briefed on the foundation’s activities and operations through a detailed presentation. Addressing the meeting, Fazal Mehmood expressed gratitude to members for their valuable volunteer services and highlighted that Al-Khidmat Foundation is actively serving in nine districts of the Malakand region.
He informed that the organization is working across eight key sectors including disaster management, education, orphan care, community services, health, WASH, Islamic microfinance, and the Bano Qabil Program. He further added that eight response centers equipped with necessary resources, ambulances, and around 3,000 volunteers are operational across the region.
The board was also apprised of the foundation’s relief efforts during the 2025 floods and support extended during the repatriation of Afghan refugees.
Board members reaffirmed their commitment to serving humanity with dedication, professionalism, and without discrimination. The meeting was attended by directors of all eight sectors and regional office team members. Performance across various sectors was reviewed in detail, and suggestions were presented to enhance service quality, ensure swift response, and strengthen professional standards in humanitarian efforts across the region.
