NOWSHERA: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Nowshera, Sarah Tawab, chaired a review meeting to assess preparations and arrangements for Eid-ul-Adha across the district.
The meeting conducted a detailed review of cleanliness measures, security arrangements, traffic management, emergency services, and the availability of medicines, doctors, and paramedical staff in hospitals before and after Eid-ul-Adha.
ADC Sarah Tawab directed officers of all relevant departments, including Local Government authorities, TMAs, and Rescue 1122, to remain present in the field throughout the Eid holidays to ensure uninterrupted public services.
She emphasized the need to provide maximum public facilitation during Eid and ordered strict action against illegal cattle markets, overpricing, and excessive collection of parking or market fees.
The ADC also instructed authorities to ensure the timely disposal of animal waste and garbage, make effective cleanliness arrangements, and strictly implement the comprehensive sanitation plan prepared for the occasion.
She warned that any negligence or dereliction of duty would not be tolerated and directed all departments to perform their responsibilities with dedication and efficiency to facilitate the public during Eid-ul-Adha.
