Children’s Education Top Priority, No Compromise Acceptable: Dr. Abdul Hafeez Joya

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Sub-Divisional Education Officer (Male) Dera, Dr. Abdul Hafeez Joya, has emphasized that children are the foremost priority and that no compromise on their education and character-building can be tolerated.

He expressed these views while addressing Annual Result Day ceremonies held at Government Primary School No. 8, Government Primary School No. 6, Government Primary School No. 1, and Government Primary School Nawab.

Dr. Joya urged teachers to dedicate all their efforts to providing quality education and proper training to students, along with ensuring the availability of basic educational facilities. He said that today’s children are the architects of the nation’s future and deserve the best possible learning environment.

He directed teachers to maintain regular contact with parents, complete the distribution of free textbooks without delay, and establish WhatsApp groups for parents of each class to keep them informed about students’ academic progress and school activities.

Highlighting the importance of productive summer vacations, Dr. Joya advised teachers to encourage students to engage in light writing exercises, reading activities, and small educational projects to continue their learning process during the break.

Secretary RTA Dera, Shaukat Iqbal, attended the ceremony at Government Primary School No. 1 as the chief guest. During the events, students presented a variety of sketches and tableaux, showcasing their talents and creativity.

At the conclusion of the ceremonies, prizes, certificates, and trophies were distributed among students who achieved outstanding academic positions, while teachers and parents appreciated the efforts made to promote quality education and student development.
